IFMA CHESAPEAKE CHAPTER RECOGNIZED AS SMALL CHAPTER OF THE YEAR AT
WORLD WORKPLACE 2019!
We are pleased to announce that IFMA Chesapeake was recognized as the Small Chapter of the Year at the 2019 World Workplace Conference in Phoenix. Seventeen chapter members attended the conference this year and were honored to accept the award on behalf of the chapter.
The award recognizes the chapter of 200 members or less that excels in membership marketing, professional development and communications. Additionally, the chapter must meet or exceed membership expectations, be fiscally responsible, communicate to their membership a clear strategic plan and implement its action items. They must also maintain quality growth, be innovative in raising funds, and have a high percentage of members attending and participating in meetings.
We extend a big thank you to Past President Ed Fraczkowski who initiated the application process. Board members contributed content as well to round out the winning application. We look forward to another amazing year!
ACE Students Win Award!
Eastern Technical HS Wins ACE Best Overall Solution Award!
At the ACE End-of Year celebration held at Morgan State University on May 12, the Eastern Technical HS team was honored with the Best Overall Solution award for their Inner Harbor Nature Center design. Mentoring the team from IFMA Chesapeake were Ed Delaha, Shan Gordon and Jim Loesch.
