The Chapter Annual Golf Outing is held in October, usually the Tuesday, after the Columbus Day holiday.
The Golf Committee plans the location and the golf challenges of the day in order for excellent comradery and networking to be enjoyed by participants.
The proceeds from the annual golf outing support community outreach, as well as the chapter’s professional development training sessions throughout the year. Funds raised from the outing have allowed the Chapter to sponsor FM certification review classes at significantly reduced rates to help members earn coveted designations to advance their careers. Many class attendees have successfully passed the CFM exam after attending the review courses.
Nine non-golfers enjoy a Spa Day of treatments as an alternative to the outing, and then join the golfers for social hour, dinner and awards.
