How Will the Workplace Change in a Post-Pandemic World?

Course Description:
While working from home, we have changed how we work and developed new skills and habits as a result. We’ve also discovered that the role of the workplace is more important now than ever for employees to come together, reinforce culture, and strengthen relationships. How do we harness best practices from working from home and apply them back to the office? In this session, we will share findings from Gensler’s new Work From Home (WFH) Survey research and roundtable discussions with clients across the globe to rethink what needs to change as we return to the office and reimagine how we might work differently in the future.

Janet Pogue McLaurin is a leader in Gensler’s global work practice areas and research initiatives.  Janet has been instrumental in leading Gensler’s workplace research including the Workplace Surveys and developing Gensler’s Workplace Performance Index (WPIxSM) tool, which measures workplace effectiveness and experience for projects. She is active in developing workplace strategy and designing innovative workplace environments for a wide variety of clients including Vanguard, GSA, Capital One, Gallup, 3M, and The Coca-Cola Company.

Cheryl Duvall, Regional Consulting Practice Area Leader, Gensler

Cheryl serves as a regional leader for Gensler's Consulting Practice Area. With dual degrees in organization development and interior design, she is uniquely qualified to lead change management and workplace strategy for corporate customers in both private and public sectors. Cheryl has more than 35 years of experience in workplace design and has focused the last 18 years on developing comprehensive change management programs that begin during the programming phase and extend past occupancy.
